Thank you for your patience and flexibility throughout this process — we’re confident it will all be worth the wait! The final touches, including the installation of bollards and line marking, are all that remain before the reserve officially opens.
New Drop-Off Area (“Kiss and Go”)
Once open, the reserve will include a drive-through drop-off area where you can safely drop children off without needing to park.

A staff member will be on duty each morning from 8:30 a.m. to ensure students move safely from the reserve to school.

We’ll let you know as soon as the new drop-off area is ready for use!
Road Patrol Reminder
Our student road patrollers play an important role in helping everyone cross safely outside our school. Each year, they are trained by the police to ensure they can manage the crossing safely and responsibly.
Lately, it’s been noticed that some adults aren’t using the crossing correctly. Please help our patrollers by remembering to:
✅ Cross between the patrol signs
✅ Walk your bike across the road before riding
Your cooperation helps our patrollers keep everyone safe — thank you for your support!
Student photos have now been uploaded to the Photolife website and are ready to be viewed and ordered.
PhotoLife are trialling a new method of delivering Key Codes to whānau and caregivers. These codes will be sent via email. As this is a new system, please remind parents to check their junk, spam, or promotions folders, in case the message was filtered.
Please note: Free delivery is available for all orders placed before MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY, 23 NOVEMBER 2025.

Hi everyone,
We’re holding a School Working Bee and would love your help! It’s a great chance to pitch in, tidy up, and make our school grounds look fantastic — plus it’s always a fun morning with great company.
Date: Saturday 22nd November
Time: 9am - 12noon
Where: Matangi School
We’ll be tackling jobs like gardening, painting, cleaning, and minor repairs, so there’s something for everyone. Please bring along any tools, gloves, etc..

As our school continues to grow and the numbers attending Tui House increase, we are no longer able to accept children who are not enrolled or booked in.
This is for the safety of your child and additionally, supports the staff who are responsible for your child/ren.

The hot lunch option available on Wednesdays will be delivered just before lunch break.

There are different sizes for different appetites and ordering is easy peasy. Simply order before 8.00pm the night before you would like the lunch box delivered.
