Try-athlon Need to Know

•  Please do not park in the Jack Foster Reserve as this is used as part of the track
•  Certificates will be awarded at the end of the Try-athlon. You are welcome to stay for this. We plan this to be at 11.30 am, with everything running smoothly.
•  Only selected adult helpers with our bright vests will be allowed in the Transition Areas. The children have been learning to do this independently.
•  All children must wear shoes – it is easier if they don’t have socks on.
•  There will be no School Assembly at 2.00 pm on Friday.
•  Please stay off the track and out of the pool area to keep the track clear
•  Bring your best cheerleading skills to support every child who is participating  It’s hot – bring a hat and plenty to drink

We welcome all parents/whānau to meet with our teachers and principal and hear about our teaching and learning programmes. 

The programme for the evening is: 

5.00 pm  - 5.20 pm Meeting with the Principal in the Kōwhai hub

5.30 pm - 6.30 pm All classes will be open

5.30 pm - 5.45 pm - Tōtara talk

5.50 pm - 6.05 pm - Rimu talk

6.10 pm - 6.25 pm - Kāhikatea talk 

6.35 pm - 7.00 pm Meeting with the Principal in the Kōwhai hub (round 2, repeat of round 1) 

Donations have a direct impact on the quality of education we can offer your children.  Although our school is funded through an Operation Grant, which covers fixed running costs, we are very reliant on donations to maintain the standard we expect with extra Learning Assistant hours, professional development for staff, computer equipment and new classroom resources. The donation is put towards towards covering the costs of the 'extras' that we provide for the learners. 

Our preferred method of payment is through our school bank account

Donations are set at:

Annual – $170.00 per child.

10% reduction for second and subsequent child attending - $153.00

Donations can also be paid on a term by term basis.  Or parents can opt to use a weekly/monthly Automatic Payment.

Term – $42.50 per child.

If you elect to pay per term we will remind you by sending out an invoice.

Please Note:  The School Donation can be claimed as a Tax Rebate at the end of the Financial Year - your donation receipt can be downloaded directly from Hero - go to Finance, then view all payments, then view donation payments, then Tax Receipts are there for the years

• Lunches are delivered to the office prior to the morning tea break.

• The hot lunch option available on Wednesdays will be delivered just before lunch break.

• There are different sizes for different appetites and ordering is easy peasy. Simply order before 8.00pm the night before you would like the lunch box delivered. 

• Choose from either a subscription or one off order.
