Thursday 19 June (tomorrow)- Dress rehearsal at school. Please can all children have their costumes at school with their name on them and in a named brown paper bag. Class costumes can go to classroom teachers. I have boxes in Koowhai hub for 'Supercalifrangalisticexpialidocious', 'Matilda', 'Main cast' and we will rock you, if your child has a costume for any of these please can they be brought to school in separate named bags and placed in the correct box in the hub. If your child is using parts of their costume for two items their costume needs to be placed in the bag for the item they perform first.

PERFORMANCE EVENING INFORMATION
-
5:00 pm - Main cast to arrive
-
5:30 pm - Whole school to arrive
- 8:30 pm - The performance is expected to finish around this time. We will confirm the exact end time after dress rehearsals and update you accordingly.
Please ensure your child brings a NAMED drink bottle and a NAMED snack to have during the performance.
At the end of the performance children will change back into their home clothes so ALL COSTUMES WILL STAY AT THE THEATRE and the child will come to meet you in the foyer.
DROPPING OFF AND PICKING UP
If you are dropping off your child for either nights you can drop them off at the turning bay. There will be a member of staff there to help you.
It is expected you pick your child up from inside the foyer on both evenings please. A member of staff will be there to support with this.
TIRED KIDS LATE TO SCHOOL
We recognise that it will be a late night on Wednesday and Thursday for our stars of the show, so if you would like them to come to school late on Thursday and/or Friday they are welcome to do this and will be marked 'Late' on the roll. Please sign in to the office before taking your child to their class if they are coming to school later. Many thanks!
HAIR AND MAKE-UP
As our students will be performing under full theatre lights it is good if they can wear some make up to ensure that their facial features stand out. Some class teachers may contact you with specific requests however generally it is good if students have:
dark eyebrows, mascara, lipstick and foundation if they will tolerate it.
This is not a MUST DO but if you could send your child to school with make up on on Wednesday as we will have professional photos taken during the day. We have organised some parents to do some special make-up/ face paint for some members of the cast.
TICKETS
Tickets are selling well, both performances only have a few seats left so please purchase them of Eventfinda this week so you don't miss out! Look out for the HERO post with the ticket information or click here to purchase tickets.
Thanks for all your support,
